Buzz’s effectiveness depends on how you define your network. Following registration, buzz recommends you to do the following:
1.Complete profile setup
2.Tap the (+) icon at the bottom of the app and add your friends and colleagues already on Buzz. For those not yet on the platform, easily extend invitations via SMS or WhatsApp and encourage them to join your Buzz network.Â
3.Share trusted professionals you've used for services such as home maintenance, childcare, or spouse-related needs with your network. Utilize the (+) icon to add their contacts and provide a quick review to boost their reliability.
Once you’ve completed these 3 steps, you’re good to go! Continue expanding your network and tap into the highest-quality professionals your friends have used!
We prioritize user data security and privacy here at Buzz. Your information is safeguarded and hosted on a secure AWS platform. To combat spam invitations, we've designed the platform so that a network can only be established when the invitee accepts the inviter's invitation. In upcoming releases, we'll introduce the ability to block contacts from sending invitations, further enhancing your control over your community interactions.
Adding provider details helps us create a comprehensive database of service professionals. This information can be beneficial for several reasons:
Referrals: If you’ve had a positive experience with a service provider, you can refer them to your friends and family. This way, they can benefit from the same high-quality service.
Ease of Rebooking: By having the provider’s details saved, it’s easier for you to rebook their services in the future.
Community Trust: Sharing your experiences helps build a community of trust, where users can rely on each other’s recommendations.
Remember, your privacy is important to us. We ensure that all shared information is stored securely and used in accordance with our privacy policy."
Buzz is inspired by the strong trust that is established within friends and families. The degrees of connection signify the level of relationship and trust within your network. Currently, there are three circles:
1st Degree: Also known as inner circle. This includes friends who have accepted your invitation to join your network or whom you have accepted invitations from to join their network. These are your direct connections on Buzz who you trust the most.
2nd Degree: Refers to friends who are connected to your 1st circle friends. These connections are considered your extended network. While you won't see the specific identities of these extended connections due to privacy concerns, you will have access to the reviews and recommendations provided by them.
3rd Degree: Encompasses anyone beyond your 2nd circle connections. These are connections that are slightly further removed from your direct network. In future releases, we will be able add more circles to further maximize the benefits of your buzz network.
If you remove a friend from your network, you'll no longer have access to their connections and provider reviews as first or second-degree connections. Instead, their reviews will appear as 3rd-degree recommendations. If you accidentally disconnect from a friend, you can easily resend them an invitation to reestablish your connection.
The visibility of your contact details are limited to 1st degree of your circle. Â Hence the provider can see only your alias name and review comments
